PRODUCT TYPES

What we supply in this category

  • 01

    Operating systems

Windows Server and client operating systems, client access licenses (CALs) and Microsoft 365 subscriptions. We set the right license count based on your users and devices and the core count of your servers.

  • 02

    Virtualization

Licenses for virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. We assess server and core counts, the features you need and your existing environment together, and choose the right package.

  • 03

    Backup

Software such as Veeam and Acronis that backs up servers, virtual machines and Microsoft 365 data. We calculate the license by the number of servers, virtual machines or users to be protected.

  • 04

In software, the right license model matters as much as the right product. The same software can be licensed per user, per device or per processor core, as a perpetual license or a subscription. We review your existing licenses and how you use them, and recommend the model that meets your needs without buying too few or too many licenses. Subscription and maintenance renewal dates are also part of the license plan.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between OEM, retail and volume licenses?

The difference is what the license is tied to and how it is managed. An OEM license is tied to the device it was sold with and usually cannot be moved to another device. A retail license is for a single user or device. A volume (enterprise) license covers multiple installations and is managed from one place; for organizations it is usually the best-fitting model.

How do companies buy Microsoft enterprise licenses?

Organizations buy Microsoft licenses through a Microsoft partner, as subscriptions or perpetual licenses based on user or device count. Cloud services such as Microsoft 365 come as subscriptions, while server products such as Windows Server can be obtained as a subscription or a perpetual license. Send us your user count and the products you need, and we will choose the right model together.

How is Windows Server licensing calculated?

Windows Server is licensed by the number of physical processor cores in the server, with a minimum core requirement per processor and per server. The Standard edition grants a limited number of virtual machines, while the Datacenter edition suits unlimited virtual machines. Users or devices that connect to the server also need client access licenses (CALs).

Send your license list or user count, and we will prepare a quote with the right model.
