INDUSTRY SOLUTION
Healthcare
We build the low-voltage (ELV) and IT infrastructure of hospitals and healthcare facilities in a single project: from nurse call to access control, from cameras to the network that carries medical devices. We design every system around clinical workflows and a hospital that never stops.

NEEDS
What the industry needs
- 01
Every call must get through.
A call from a patient bed or bathroom has to reach the right nurse, with the right priority and without delay. The call system is the most critical communication line in the hospital.
- 02
Every area needs its own access rights.
Not everyone may enter intensive care, operating rooms, the pharmacy or the archive. Access rights must follow each staff member’s role, and every entry must be logged.
- 03
The network carries more than computers.
The hospital information system, medical images, medical devices, staff phones and guest Wi-Fi share the same physical infrastructure. This traffic must be kept separate and flow without interruption.
- 04
There is no tolerance for downtime.
A hospital runs 24/7. Critical systems must stay up during a power outage, a device failure or maintenance work.
SYSTEMS
Systems we recommend
Nurse call · CCTV · access control
05 · Smart Building & Communication 02 · Security IP CCTV Systems
Monitoring of entrances and exits, the emergency department, pharmacy and parking. No cameras in areas where patient privacy applies.02 · Security Access Control Systems
Role-based access for intensive care, operating rooms, the pharmacy and the archive.01 · Network & Infrastructure Network Infrastructure Solutions
A redundant backbone and full Wi-Fi coverage that keep HIS, PACS, medical device and guest traffic separate.03 · Fire & Early Warning Fire Detection and Early Warning Systems
Early and accurate detection in buildings where patient evacuation is difficult.04 · Data Center & Cloud UPS Systems
Keeps call, network and recording systems running during a power outage.
Nurse call systems
A nurse call system consists of the call unit at the patient’s bedside, pull-cord buttons in bathrooms and toilets, corridor lights above room doors and the panel at the nurse station. It shows which room a call comes from and its priority, and the call stays open until a nurse goes to the room and cancels it.
For product selection we take into account DIN VDE 0834, the standard most widely used as a reference in this field. We configure the system around the hospital’s floor and ward layout so that each call is routed to the right station.
APPROACH
How we work in a live hospital
Most healthcare projects are carried out while the hospital is treating patients. So we plan the installation ward by ward and schedule work in patient rooms at times agreed with hospital management. When moving from an existing system to a new one, we do not switch off critical lines until the new system has been tested and commissioned.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is a nurse call system and how does it work?
It is a system that lets a patient alert a nurse with a button at the bed or in the bathroom. The call shows on a corridor light and on the panel at the nurse station; it stays active until a nurse reaches the room and cancels it.
Which standard should a nurse call system comply with?
The standard most widely used as a reference in this field is DIN VDE 0834. We select products and carry out the installation with the requirements of this standard in mind. The regulations and specifications that apply to your project are assessed separately.
Can the installation be done while the hospital is in operation?
Yes. We work ward by ward and at times agreed with hospital management. On critical systems, the old line is not switched off until the new one is commissioned.
Can hospital Wi-Fi be separated for guests and staff?
Yes, and it should be. We keep guest, staff and medical device traffic in separate network segments (VLANs) and apply separate access and security rules to each.
How is patient privacy protected when using cameras?
Cameras are not used in patient rooms, examination areas or similar private spaces. In common areas, privacy masking and access authorization are applied. Recording retention and access are set by the hospital’s KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) policy.
